In a cooperative preschool, parents are an integral part. Not only do they participate during class time, but they also have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of other activities that directly affect their child’s classroom experience via the administration of the school, such as serving on the Board of Directors. This multilevel participation in the preschool enables parents to share in their child’s preschool experience and ensures a quality program through combined efforts and talents.

  • A Magical Experience! Between my two children, we were at Sand Tots for seven years. Through play, these inspirational and intentional teachers were able to prepare my children, not only for kindergarten, but also set an amazing foundation for the rest of their lives! The small teacher to student ratios (1:4), the ability for parents to help in the classroom, and the focus on language and STEM set this school apart from other preschools in the area. In addition, I learned so much too!! Through time in the classroom and access to the magnificent teachers, I learned how to talk to children and how to help them learn through play. I am so grateful for our time at this magical school!
